This weekend workshop, led by Claire Santos (E-RYT 500) and Joshua Diliberto (LPCA & RYT 200), is designed for those who want to incorporate mindfulness based practices such as yoga and meditation into their daily lives in order to increase their own and/or their clients ability to handle the ordinary and sometimes extraordinary stresses of daily life. This training will be especially beneficial to anyone who works with trauma as a provider and/or is seeking to cultivate more resilience in their own life. Participants do not need to be yoga teachers in order to attend, although a willingness to experience yoga and mindfulness practices is highly beneficial.

Effects of trauma on the body and mind
Environmental, Social, Cultural and Psychological elements
Trauma & Resilience defined and explored
